Article 1 – Definitions

  • Cooling-off period: The 14-day period during which the consumer may cancel a purchase without providing a reason.

  • Consumer: A natural person not acting in a professional or business capacity.

  • Day: Calendar day.

  • Distance contract: A contract formed remotely, such as through an online purchase.

  • Durable medium: Any medium (e.g., email) that allows the consumer to store information for future reference.

  • Entrepreneur: Sneakjoy, the business offering shoes online.

  • Right of withdrawal: The consumer’s right to cancel a purchase during the cooling-off period.

  • Remote communication: Methods like websites or emails used to form contracts without physical contact.


Article 2 – Applicability

  • These terms apply to all offers, sales, and agreements made through the Sneakjoy website.

  • By placing an order, the consumer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

  • A copy of these terms is made available before order confirmation and can be saved for reference.

  • In case of conflict, the most consumer-friendly condition applies.

Article 4 – The Offer

All offers from Sneakjoy:

  • Clearly indicate pricing, availability, and conditions.

  • Provide accurate descriptions (images are for illustrative purposes).

  • Include total cost, including taxes and shipping, and inform about withdrawal rights.

  • May be modified or withdrawn by Sneakjoy at any time.


Article 5 – The Contract

  • A contract is formed when the consumer places an order and completes payment.

  • For online orders:

    • An order confirmation will be sent via email.

    • We ensure secure checkout and data protection.

    • Orders may be declined with justified reason (e.g., out of stock).


Article 6 – Right of Cancellation

  • Consumers may cancel their order within 14 days of receiving it.
    Conditions:

  • Item must be in original condition and packaging.

  • Cancellation notice must be sent in writing (email or contact form).

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of cancellation notice.


Article 7 – Returns & Refunds

  • Return shipping is at the consumer’s expense unless the item is defective or incorrect.

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product or valid return proof.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless due to a Sneakjoy error.


Article 8 – Pricing

  • All prices are final during the promotional or valid listing period.

  • Typographical or pricing errors will be corrected.

  • For international customers: customs duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.


Article 9 – Product Quality & Warranty

Products from Sneakjoy:

  • Will match the description and meet general quality standards.

  • Are designed for gentle use—damage due to misuse or modification is not covered.

  • Must be reported faulty within 14 days of delivery for warranty claims.


Article 10 – Delivery

  • Products are shipped to the address provided during checkout.

  • Delivery time is within 30 days unless otherwise communicated.

  • You will be notified of delays. Orders delayed over 30 days may be canceled for a full refund.

  • If unavailable, a similar replacement may be offered—acceptance is optional.


Article 11 – Subscription & Duration Contracts

  • Applies only to recurring or subscription-based purchases.

  • Open contracts can be canceled with 1-month notice.

  • Fixed-term contracts will not auto-renew unless agreed.

  • Contracts longer than one year may be canceled after 12 months.


Article 12 – Payments

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payment issues must be reported immediately for resolution.


Article 13 – Complaints

  • Complaints should be submitted within 7 days of noticing an issue.

  • You will receive a response within 14 days.

  • Valid complaints may result in repair, replacement, or refund.

  • We aim to resolve disputes amicably.

  • Unresolved issues may be escalated to a recognized consumer dispute board.


Article 15 – Force Majeure

  • Sneakjoy is not responsible for delays or failures caused by external factors such as natural disasters, strikes, or technical issues.

  • All purchases and disputes are governed by U.S. law, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer regulations.


Article 17 – Changes to Terms

  • Sneakjoy may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • The current version will always be available on our website. We advise checking before placing an order.
